Kathmandu: Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav attended the reception hosted on the National Day of Russia on Tuesday evening.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the reception was organized by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Nepal, Aleksei A. Novikov. The event was attended by Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Pant, Deputy Speaker Indira Rana, and several parliamentarians. Chief of Army Staff Ashokraj Sigdel, heads and officials of diplomatic missions in Kathmandu, former ministers, high-ranking officials of the Nepal government, and media professionals were also present.
On the occasion, a Russian cultural team performed various cultural programs, adding a cultural touch to the celebration.
