Gulmi: A 25-year-old woman has died in a fire incident in Vastu Amrai of Dhurkot Rural Municipality-5. The incident occurred in the early hours, leading to the death of Juna, daughter of Mani BK, after a fire engulfed their home.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Dhurkot-5 Ward Chair Keshav Raj Bhandari reported that Juna, who had been grappling with mental health issues, set fire to the house herself.
The fire was eventually brought under control by local residents and police personnel. The blaze resulted in damages exceeding Rs. 300,000. Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
