Kathmandu: The Baglung-Burtibang road section along the Mid Hill Highway has been blocked after a landslide occurred in Badigad rural municipality-2, Kharbang. Police Inspector of the District Police Office, Baglung, Keshab Thapa informed that the road has been blocked since this morning.
According to National News Agency Nepal, vehicles moving from west Baglung, Rolpa, Rukum, Jajarkot, Dolpa, and Gulmi to Pokhara and Kathmandu have been halted on the road due to the disruption. Heavy rainfall has hampered efforts to resume road operations, Inspector Thapa added.
