Kathmandu: The report of the Legislative Management Committee on the Water Resources Bill, 2081 BS, has been tabled in today’s meeting of the National Assembly. The report was presented by the Chairperson of the Committee, Tulsa Kumari Dahal, addressing the house on the provisions related to the conservation and multi-dimensional utilization of water resources.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Acting Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh also took the opportunity to present the 62nd Annual Report of the Auditor General before the National Assembly. This report is a crucial document for assessing the financial activities and accountability of the government.
During the meeting, National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal shared the contents of a letter from the Office of the President regarding the portfolios of the members of the Council of Ministers. Additionally, the letter outlined changes in the members of the thematic committees, indicating an ongoing evolution in the legislative body’s structure and focus.
