Bhimad: A concrete bridge has been constructed over the Kulung rivulet in Bhimad municipality-1. The 72.20-meter long bridge marks a significant development in the area, providing a much-needed connection that has been anticipated for years.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the construction of the bridge began in the third week of Asoj, 2081, and was completed ahead of schedule. The bridge is currently open to two-wheelers, although it awaits formal inauguration. This infrastructure project was funded by the Gandaki Province government, which invested Rs 77.3 million in its construction, coming 25 years after the road was initially built in the area.
The completion of the bridge is seen as a critical development for the local community, offering improved connectivity and potential economic benefits to the region surrounding Bhimad municipality-1.
