Kathmandu: The Westerly wind is currently having a general impact on Nepal’s weather system. The Meteorological Forecasting Division reported that the weather across the country is partly cloudy, with fog and mist expected to occur in some areas of the Tarai region until noon today.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces are expected to be generally cloudy, whereas the remaining hilly and mountainous regions will experience partly cloudy conditions. Meanwhile, the weather in the Tarai region will remain mainly clear.
The Division has indicated the possibility of light rain or snowfall in one or two places within the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces today.
As the night approaches, a few areas of the Tarai region are likely to experience fog. The high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces will be partly cloudy, while the rest of the region is expected to remain mostly clear. Light rain or snowfall may also occur in select locations in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces tonight, as stated by the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
