Madhesh: The policy and program of the Madhesh Province government for the fiscal year 2025/26 have received unanimous approval from the Provincial Assembly. The assembly members convened on Tuesday and collectively agreed to endorse the proposed policy and program.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the proposal for approval was submitted by Madhesh Province Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh. The policy and program were initially presented to the Provincial Assembly by Province Chief Sumitra Subedi Bhandari for the fiscal year 2082/83. The assembly engaged in a two-day discussion regarding the policy and program before reaching a consensus.
During these discussions, Chief Minister Singh addressed and responded to various questions raised by the Provincial Assembly members, ensuring clarity and understanding before the unanimous approval was granted.
