Awaza: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended an invitation to President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, to visit Nepal. This invitation was extended during a meeting between the two leaders on the sidelines of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC).
According to National News Agency Nepal, Prime Minister Oli emphasized discussions on bilateral interests, cooperation, and the strengthening of relations between Nepal and Turkmenistan. He expressed appreciation for Turkmenistan’s rapid development and shared Nepal’s progress towards being upgraded to a developing country by 2026.
The meeting also saw Prime Minister Oli expressing gratitude towards President Berdimuhamedow for hosting the UN conference in the city of Awaza. Following this, Prime Minister Oli is expected to engage with other international leaders during the conference.
