Bagmati province: The Ministry of Health of the Bagmati Province has installed 16 dialysis machines in the province hospitals across different districts. Health Minister Kiran Thapa stated that the dialysis machines were installed to provide accessible and inexpensive health care services to kidney patients.
According to National News Agency Nepal, five dialysis machines were installed in Bhaktapur Hospital. Additionally, two machines each were installed in Dhading Hospital, Sindhuli Hospital, Trishuli Hospital, and Bakulahar Ratnanagar Hospital. In Hetauda Hospital, three dialysis machines were set up.
Meanwhile, Dr. Surendra Bhatta, Executive Director of Bhaktapur Hospital, announced that the hospital will immediately begin the five-bedded dialysis service.
