Dhangadhi: The provincial government’s annual policy program for the fiscal year 2082/83 was unanimously approved during the Provincial Assembly meeting held on Monday.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah addressed questions raised by Members of Parliament regarding the policies and programs, emphasizing the government’s commitment to good governance and a zero-tolerance stance on corruption. Chief Minister Shah reassured the assembly that issues not covered in the current policy and program would be addressed through the forthcoming budget. He also called for understanding from the Provincial Assembly members about the necessity of working within limited resources.
The Chief Minister also mentioned ongoing discussions among political parties concerning the establishment of a permanent capital for the province, a matter that will be brought before the House for further deliberation.
Provincial Assembly members Rajendra Singh Rawal, Ramesh Singh Dhami, Ghanashyam Chaudhary, Janaki Devi Kunwar, Chakra Bahadur Malla, and Om Bikram Bhat participated in the final day’s discussion on the policy program.
