Myagdi: A 366-metre-long suspension bridge has been constructed over the Darkhola River, linking Phaliyagaun and Dar villages in Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality-3, Myagdi. This project, initiated by the Local Infrastructure Development Project, was completed at a cost of Rs 23.13 million.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the development of the bridge has significantly benefited both locals and tourists traveling along the Dhaulagiri Trekking Circuit by reducing travel time. Residents from Dar, Mudi, Khiwang, Nerwang, Bagar, and Naura no longer need to detour through Muna village to reach their rural municipality’s headquarters.
The construction company completed the bridge six months ahead of schedule and officially handed it over to the Local Infrastructure Development Project Office.
