Kathmandu: The committee formed to recommend candidates for the position of Vice Chancellor of Tribhuvan University has submitted three names to Prime Minister and Chancellor KP Sharma Oli. The recommendations were made today, marking a significant step in the selection process for the university’s leadership.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the committee, led by Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Pant, has proposed the names of current Acting Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khadga KC, former Dean of the Faculty of Science Prof Dr Vinil Aryal, and former Head of the Central Department of Hydrology and Meteorology Prof Dr Deepak Aryal. These candidates have been considered for their potential contributions to the university’s future.
The Vice Chancellor position at Tribhuvan University has been vacant since the resignation of the previous Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Keshar Jung Baral. The recommended candidates are expected to bring their expertise and leadership skills to the role, contributing to the development of the university.
