Laljhadi: The locals from Jai-Parsiya of Laljhadi rural municipality-4 in the district have been terrorized after a wild elephant entered the settlement on Tuesday. As the male pachyderm was found prowling on streets and agricultural fields, people worried over their safety.

A local, Laxman Rana, expressed fear that the pachyderm might return to their village. “Last year, a person lost his life in the elephant attack. The wild animal also damages crops every year,” he shared, adding that they were demanding support from the concerned local bodies to chase away the prowling animal.
