Laljhadi: The Jayprithvi Highway has been obstructed due to a landslip triggered by incessant rainfall. The debris deposited on the road has disrupted vehicular movement since early this morning.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the spokesperson at the District Police Office, Balram Pandeya, informed that the highway was blocked due to the landslip occurring at Ramilapur of Sigas rural municipality-9.
Passengers are stranded following the traffic disruption. However, efforts are underway to remove the debris to reopen the busy highway in Sudurpaschim Province, the police added.
