Tanahun: Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Bhagawati Neupane, emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring good governance through transparent public service delivery during a meeting with government office chiefs in Tanahun today. Minister Neupane directed officials to prioritize the ease and accessibility of public services, ensuring that service recipients do not face unnecessary hurdles.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Neupane assured that there is no need for concern if actions are within the law, urging all officials to adhere to legal guidelines while providing services. She highlighted the importance of eliminating nepotism in public offices and emphasized the need for ensuring service delivery is accessible and legally compliant.
Minister Neupane also vowed to refrain from misusing her position, advocating for a bureaucracy that acts as the backbone of the country’s development. She stressed the pivotal role civil servants play in reinforcing federalism. Additionally, the Minister revealed that the Federal Civil Service Bill is set to be passed in the ongoing House Session, which will address most of the demands of civil servants upon its implementation.
