RAJSHAHI, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in an anti-crime
drive arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 3.4 kilograms of heroin in the
district early this morning.
The arrested persons are Solaiman Ali, 20, son of Jahangir Alam, and Ruhul
Amin, 40, son of late Abdur Rashid, both of Diar Manik Char village under
Godagari upazila in the district, said RAB sources here this noon.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a sudden search in the
residence of Solaiman Ali, recovered the drugs and arrested them red-handed.
A case was recorded with Godagari Police Station in this connection and the
arrested persons along with the seized contraband items were handed over to
the police.
