The newly elected committee of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj.
Members of FBCCI committee led by its President Md Mahbubul Alam placed a floral wreath at the mausoleum of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memory of the architect of Bangladesh’s independence.
Former president of FBCCI Sheikh Fazle Fahim, newly elected senior vice-president Md. Amin Helali, among others, were present.
A special doa was offered seeking eternal peace of Bangabandhu and other martyrs of the August 15, 1975 carnage as well as martyrs of the War of Liberation.
A special prayer was also offered for longevity of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
FBCCI President Md Mahbubul Alam signed the visitors’ book there.
