DHAKA, Nayeb Ali, a valiant Freedom Fighter, upazila parishad chairman and president of Ishwardi upazila unit Awami League in Pabna district, died of old-age complications at a hospital here this morning. He was 83. Nayeb Ali is survived by wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and admirers. AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Nayeb Ali. In a condolence message, the AL General Secretary prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
