3 bike riders killed in Ctg road accident

CHATTOGRAM, Three motorcyclists were killed after being hit by a truck in Padua Nayapara area on the Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar highway under Lohagara upazila of the district on Monday. The victims were identified as Md Abser Hossain, 39, Md Jubaier, 25 both hailed from Lohagara upazila and Md Jahed Alam, 28, hailed from Rangunia upazila of the district. Khan Mohammad Erfan, officer-in-charge (OC) of Dohazari Highway Police told journalists that a Chattogram bound speedy truck knocked the motorcycle riders that left them injured seriously. Being informed, police rushed to the Chattogram Medical College Hospital where the attending doctors declared him dead. Police detained the truck but its driver managed to escape.
