Literary programme to find talent


Khajura: Khajura rural municipality of Banke district has launched a massive literary programme to explore talent. The Khajura academy organized a literary event in a bid to find talent persons.

Vice Chancellor of the academy, Dr Indra Bahadur Bhandari, informed that the three-day programme kicked off today. Talent in various eight genres as singing, dance, painting, essay, poetry, proverb, speech would be identified from competitive programmes.

Competitive programmes are held on Saturday and Sunday and the excellent ones in respective category will be awarded on Tuesday, Dr Bhandari added.

Earlier, such programme was organized in limited genres. The programme in present form is first of its kind, according to him. It will be focused on ‘Ma and Mero Khajura’ (I and My Khajura).

Academy member Madhav Sharma shared that it is a huge programme involving many students from Khajura rural municipality. It helps foster student’s creativity and talent, he believed, adding that there is potential of literature and
art here.

Such programme is organized every year, the academy informed.
