Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, has asserted that good governance, prosperity and social justice are main agenda of the government.
During the meeting organized with political parties, journalists, civil society and religious leaders to inform them about Lumbini Province level security seminar on Friday, Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha shared that the government had become successful to maintain peace and control crime.
Some positive changes are seen after establishment of republic, he claimed, adding that it was necessary to expedite development works and prosperity endeavours. The DPM stressed that the prosperity could not make stride without curbing corruption. Bringing socio-economic changes in people’s life is need of hour, he underlined.
The DPM warned that anyone irrespective of position and party would be taken action if found guilty. The Home Minister informed that the government had taken the issue of religious harmony sensitively.
