Awami League president Basirul Alam Khan passed
away today while undergoing treatment at a hospital
in the city. He was 65.
He left behind a host of relatives and well-wishers to
mourn his death.
Awami League general secretary and road transport
and bridges minister Obaidul Quader expressed
deep shock at the death of Basirul Alam.
In a condolence message, Quader prayed for the
eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed
deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
