Vice president of Maheshpur upazila Awami League
of Jenaidah district Sheikh Nizam Uddin died of old age complications at his
own residence this morning.
He was 87.
He left behind wife, one son, two daughters and a host of relatives and
admirers to mourn his death.
Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister
Obaidul Quader expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of veteran ruling
party leader Sheikh Nizam Uddin.
In a condolence message, Quader prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul
and convoyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
