JAMALPUR, Protesting the killing, arson and anarchy of
BNP-Jamaat alliance, the ruling Awami League (AL) held peace rally in the
town as part of their country-wide programme today.
Jamalpur Poura AL took out the rally in the town led by Vice-President of
District AL Faruk Ahammed Chowdhury. After the rally, a meeting was held in
by-pass area with President of Poura AL Masum Reza Rahim in the chair.
General Secretary of District AL Bizan Kumar Chanda, its Joint-secretary
General Mokhlesur Rahman, General Secretary of Poura AL Md Sanowar Hossain
Sanu and President of District Shramik League Masiur Rahman Babu spoke, among
others, at the meeting.
