Cultural rights needed for strengthening nationality, Sudan Kirati says

Kathmandu: House of Representatives (HoR) member and CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Sudan Kirati has said that the political leadership should be responsible for uniting the aspirations of nationality.

Addressing the Ubhauli Sakela Sili Dance organized by Kirat Rai Yayokha on Saturday, Kirati said that the government and political leadership should ensure cultural rights for the strengthening of the nationality.

“The Kirat community marks the beginning of agricultural work in Ubhauli. In today’s era, we should begin new mentality and creation,” leader Kirati added.

The former minister viewed that the citizens in the country would be pleased if the fundamental rights inscribed in the constitution were implemented in practice.
