Aspire to Innovate- a2i and the Directorate of Family Planning (DGFP) will work together to ensure smart health care services for the women and children in the country.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has already been signed between the two organizations on Thursday at the DGFP’s conference room here to this end, said an official release here today.
Director General of Family Planning Directorate Shahan Ara Banu and Project Director, a2i, Mohammad Mamunur Rashid Bhuiyan signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
As per the MoU, a2i will provide technical support to DGFP for the development of digital health and family planning systems. This support includes upgrading and enhancing e-MIS systems, formulating standardized policies for women, children, and building an e-health ecosystem.
The primary goal of this collaboration is to establish a Smart health ecosystem in Bangladesh through technical cooperation. The MoU seeks to simplify the delivery of community and facility-level health, nutrition, and family planning services, making them more cost-effective and efficient.
