Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun
today distributed certificates among the selected departments and
organisations for best innovative initiatives.
He handed over the certificates among the heads of the departments and
organisations at a function in the conference room of the Industries Ministry
in the city with its Senior Secretary Jakia Sultana in the chair.
In the innovation showcase, the initiative of Bangladesh Industrial Technical
Assistance Center (BITAC) on “Increasing the efficiency of irrigation pumps
used in agriculture by making impellers using 3D printing technology” won the
first place while initiative of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation
(BCIC) on “Making 86 Lockout Relay used in High Voltage Plan (6.6kv) reusable
by using 3D Printing Technology” won the second position.
The initiative of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC)
on “RDPP processing using cloud based synchronization system through online”
and initiative of Bangladesh Steel an
d Engineering Corporation (BSEC) on
“Design and Implementation of the PC8B of DOB Technology LED Bulb” jointly
won the third place.
