DHAKA, The land depression lies over Sylhet and
adjoining area. It is likely to move North Eastwards and weaken gradually.
Under its influence steep pressure gradient persists over North Bay,
according to latest weather situation released by the storm warning center of
the meteorological department here today.
Squally weather may continue over the maritime ports, North Bay and adjoining
coastal areas of Bangladesh.
Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised
to keep hoisted local cautionary signal number three.
All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to remain
close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
