Kathmandu: Speaker of House of Representatives (HoR) Devraj Ghimire has expressed the confidence that the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) will make its effective presence to highlight public voices and activities of lawmaking processes and parliamentary activities.
In a message on the occasion of 63rd anniversary of RSS today, the Speaker has stated that RSS has become the news agency of first choice for electronic and online media platforms in the country for its adoption to multimedia in the recent years.
He has also wished that RSS would emerge as a leading news agency by making its contents further competitive.
In his message, the Speaker has appreciated RSS for its role in parliamentary reporting.
Similarly, National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina has said that RSS would work further proactively in prodding for an equitable and judicious distribution of democratic dividends.
