According to National News Agency Nepal, Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal’s chairman, Kamal Thapa, confirmed that the movement aimed at establishing the party’s ‘agenda’ will maintain peace. He stated that public participation in the peaceful movement would foster dialogue with other political parties and the government to further RPP’s objectives.
The coordinator of the Rastriya Shakti Abhiyan, Keshar Bahadur Bista, urged public support for the movement, highlighting its goal of creating pressure to address longstanding demands for political stability and peace in the country. Further reinforcing the commitment to non-violence, the coordinator of the Movement Mobilization Committee, Nawaraj Subedi, assured that the May 29 event would be peaceful and based on civil disobedience, with approximately 2,000 volunteers involved to ensure the demonstration remains calm.
